Rosella

Rosellas are medium sized colourful parrots.They have white cheek patches. The name “Rosella” originated from Sydney suburb of Rose Hill.The rubino Rosella and Eastern Rosella are two colouful species that are found generally .They have conquered the heart of many bird enthusiast.They are very common in Australia and they are found in every park or visitors area as they have no fear of people. In some countries they are also found in captive mode.these birds need some special care as they are detached from the nature . people can build a good friendship with them by providing extra care and their favourite food items.In most cases, Males are more attractive than female Rosela.Seeds are their main food but they also eat berries, blossoms, nectar, fruit and insects.
